To that end, Rep. Steve Cohen of Tennessee has filed 26 articles of impeachment, ranging from his practice of ignoring courts, to undermining elections, to rampant corruption and beyond. It’s perhaps the most comprehensive argument for accountability we’ve seen. Now, we must demand our representatives vote on it when they return to Congress.

It is clear that Donald Trump is abusing his office. He has ignored judges, killed citizens, trampled free speech, and used the presidency as a vehicle of his own enrichment, to the tune of billions of dollars.
This is unacceptable. Your boss has sworn an oath, not to a man, but to the ideals of our nation: The Constitution of the United States. This oath demands not “strategic” political calculation, not “loyalty” to a party line, but the courage to do what is right for the good of the people of our nation.
For these reasons, I urge you: Support these impeachment articles under a Rule IX vote, and impeach Donald J. Trump.
