To settle a ludicrous ten billion dollar from Trump the citizen against the Trump administration, the Department of Justice — headed by Trump’s personal attorney, Todd Blanche — has created a $1.7 billion slush fund for victims of “weaponization” of the department under Biden. This is plain corruption, benefiting Trump’s allies at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. To make it worse, Trump has the unilateral authority to fire anyone charged with administering the fund, and any payments from the fund are completely opaque — all this despite the fact that it’s public money.
Impeachment is the only acceptable response to this tyrannical, corrupt behavior, and Congress must act now.
