NY Times: Trump Could Gut Endangered Species Act
The Trump administration is considering making it so the accidental killing or injuring of an endangered animal would no longer be considered illegal, The New York Times reported.
Such an interpretation would gut the Endangered Species Act, since it would no longer hold companies and people accountable for the deaths of endangered animals.
