Trump Has Asked Kimberly Guilfoyle to Resign, White House Says
President Trump has asked Kimberly Guilfoyle to resign as U.S. ambassador to Greece following a string of damaging reports, including that she asked a Republican donor to pay off her credit card, the White House press secretary said Tuesday.
In response to a question from a reporter about Ms. Guilfoyle's status, Mr. Trump's new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, said: "We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign. She has been a wonderful asset to the team and we wish her well."
