We are now just over six weeks to Election Day, and polling continues to show Democrats surging in the midterms.
A new NYT/Sienna poll shows Democrats’ generic ballot lead at above 8 points, a new high in this poll.
This follows several strong generic ballot leads for Democrats this month.
The poll also has other bad news for Republicans.
And hoo boy.
It was a strong week in polling for Democrats all around.
With Democrats now favored to sweep both the House and Senate in November.
I mean, just look at these Senate race polling averages.
And these House race ratings changes.
Polls show Democrats surging in Texas.
In Ohio…
And Iowa!
And now Democrats are expanding the map into deep red Trump country, such as Nebraska…
Florida…
And Kansas!
Where JD Vance actually campaigned this week. And it did not go well.
